Hi, I'm John J. O'Hanlan, the creator of this micro-lesson series and founder of One Door Citizens. I paused my corporate career to build this course series because I keep meeting two kinds of people. Some who are curious about faith but feel overwhelmed by the Bible and can't find an entry point that respects where they are. Others who are believers who feel stuck, like there's a gap between church and everyday life. Bible Truths In Plain English serves both. I wanted to create a micro-lesson series that explained the Bible's core truths without religious jargon and offered practical ways to live them out, one imperfect action at a time. Part One is a great introduction the series. I'm not a pastor, though many have told me I should be. I'm someone who spent years learning these truths the hard way and wished someone had laid them out plainly from the start. That's what I've done here.
